My degree is in Corporate Communication with a secondary degree in Creative Problem Solving Leadership and Facilitation. I know it’s a mouthful, but basically it means I am trained at leading groups through a creativity process, then helping them develop a plan of action from the ideas they’ve generated.

In an organization, this means identifying areas or processes in the company that are inefficient or unprofitable, and leading your team (or just you) through a process that helps you really understand the issue, develop ideas to improve the situation, and create an action plan to implement immediately.

I lived in Europe for several years, and speak English, German, Dutch, and am learning Italian. I love traveling and languages and enjoy working with intercultural teams. I am very comfortable in foreign settings, especially helpful if your organization has offices in different countries, and team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I was a professional photojournalist prior to moving into conference production in 1999 and have produced 36 conferences in the energy industry. In 2002 I launched a B2B publishing company that produced and marketed research reports in the global energy, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries. My love of facilitating workshops led me to create the Women’s Web Workshop, and the Bunnyslipper Business Bootcamp for entrepreneurs.

With a background in Corporate Communications, Research, Publishing, Internet Marketing and Conference production, I consult with businesses to develop creative solutions to their marketing, strategy and process-based sticking points.

My strategy sessions and recommendations based on time-tested business principles, coupled with the most current social and internet media solutions.

I look forward to exploring with you how to improve your processes and your bottomline. Click on the Contact link above and let me know where you are “Stuck”!
